in the current GameStar expenditure (10,2006, comes to 30. into the kiosk) are located a few information to Nightfall (they were in Seattle with A-Net):
- Characters move the lips, it show emotions (intermediate sequences)
-20 primary and countless Nebenquests (Primärquests is to probably mean missions )
- in the run the story one visits old areas, which changed however due to the “bad” influence strongly
- the instances are to play with the Urängsten. Examples would be:
*Instanzen remind a little of the grave (Tentakeln rise up out of the soil)
*Instanzen consist of corpse and insect parts, eyes “pursue” the whole time
*man the “heroes” can steer, attack instructions give, defense instructions give (offensively, passively and defensively as in WoW?)
*PvE incoming goods to 22-24 Septembers

In addition 2 Quicklinks were indicated:
H109 brings one to a Nightfall Preview, which only starting from that 15,09 is available
H130 brings one on the guildWars Website.

thus do not hope wurd yet gepostet.

Lip-syncing and emotional movement on the face is a very doubtful issue; that would mean’s that they would go back and change that problem on the previous chapters as well (so no). I do believe that whole bit of really off strange lo-cal areas, where things are a bit of a nightmarish world; reason in being if you are going to face this out-cast god, you have to face the enemy in his plane of reality (figure that it’s because of the way oblivion was too). As for the log-in screen I would not be surprised if that was the stand alone log in screen for nightfall.

Seems awsome , but there are two things that I don't see any sign of that I really hoped would come with nightfall.

1) The ability to change and select different log in screens.(I know a lot of us are getting tired of the factions one, and by the time chapter 4 comes out, we will probably be getting tired of the nightfall one)

2) The world maps are combined into one single map.

Even without those, nightfall seems awsome! I really hope dervish and paragon are as fun as assassin! I can't wait!

I think I'm gonna explode from excitement before it comes out at this rate!

Bah! Time to start amassing gold for all the crazy armors/skills!
I'm lovin everything I'm seeing, well, except for the monk art :P Anyway I can see places where I'm pretty sure the art isn't finished/refined but I can see it coming along.

A while back I was wondering, what in the world would they do for mesmer art in an African themed game. It seemed they had approached all the art styles I could think of with the other 7 professions. From the one shot I saw of a mesmer, it seems they're equally stumped as well.

:P It looks almost the same as 3-4 other existing mesmer armors.

well i happen to think the monk looks awesome (very different)

the mesmer and elementalists look pretty much the same, yes.

WTH Does that Face say on the side of that thing-> it looks like it says 'under construction'----> does that mean we will be able to 'hide' more of our clothes?? we can fight naked without taking our armor off?? lol, I dont know if thats really necessary (but then again, maybe itll be interesting to see warriors with no shirts running around tanking sand worms and stuff)

That is the Armor icon that changes hue with the color that you choose.

Since the Armor isn't final, the icons weren't plugged in yet.

This thread should be bumped up a little bit because of the good content in the screenshots. I hope all don't mind....just trying to help out the newer players who may want to check more into the screenies for the game.

No offence to anyone, including myself but screw all the Asian inspired stuff. I fell in love with GW because of the medieval, castles & dragons sort of feel; Though this Africanized setting looks good too.

Nice! I'm getting excited. Does anyone know how many face choices there will be. The number and variety in Factions just plain old sucked.

It would be cool if it were more like the City of Heroes character creation where you could customize the body types as well.

If it's like it was during the preview weekend, three. Hopefully they've added more face and skin color options since then...

If magazines hadn't already stated that the pve weekend was going to be the end of this month I would have placed money on it. They seem to be following a very similar sort of release/info phase as Factions did, and the pve weekend was 1 month before release.

I am sure that there are people that would want more asian inspired stuff and rejects the castles & dragons sort of feel.

I for one, do like the fact that they try out different things. If it is the same thing over and over, tons of people would be pissed off, I am sure of it. So be glad they are giving you different options.

I know several players who feel that way. I am not one of them, however I do feel that way with Africa. It is my hope that face features will be more Mediterranean, Jewish and Persian features and less emphasis of African features. That said an AFRO hair style (looking like a giant fuzzy ping pong ball) would be fun to have for my PvP characters. I would love to form a PvP guild team called and named after The Globetrotters.

Let me repeat in Jive (part of my campain to add Jive to the language options)

good point. as far as the 'plain-ness' of the armors that we have seen- it IS the noob armor which is pretty lame looking compared to the rest of the armors. Im actually surprised the monk, ranger, and warrior armors look as good as they do in light of this fact. (imo)
